Julie is a Sport and Exercise Medicine Registrar at Axis. 

Originating from the Seychelles, Julie was a Team Physician at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014 with the Seychelles team. She has also been involved with the NZ Women’s Football team (Football Ferns) as a touring doctor since 2014, travelling with them on six overseas tours. 

Julie has come to Sports Medicine from a background in Emergency Medicine having graduated from the University of Otago in 2010 and completed the University of Auckland Post Graduate Diploma is Sports Medicine in 2014.

An ex-dancer, Julie has tried all dance styles during her years of involvement (from Ballroom/Latin/Dance Sport to Irish and Tap), and her favourites are ballet and contemporary dance. She has a keen interest in all sports, especially football, swimming and dance.
