Breege moved to New Zealand in 2023. In Ireland, she worked on a neuro/surgical ward in a residential home, helping people regain mobility and functional independence following various surgeries and injuries. She also set up and successfully ran her own private practice for three years primarily treating musculoskeletal injuries as well as womens health. Breege also set up an online exercise mentoring programme for women to provide interventions for lifestyle and behaviour change.

She was also the physiotherapist for the highest-level men's team in my county, Carlow GAA, for two years.

Breege loves to learn. In 2021, she was awarded a scholarship to complete a Master's in Sport & Exercise Psychology from the Gaelic Players Association. Outside of work she likes to keep active, playing Gaelic Football here in Auckland and doing CrossFit. She also loves camping and exploring New Zealand.
