Dedicated clinics and services
For some more serious injuries, we offer dedicated clinics and services that fast track you into treatment:
Vestibular Physiotherapy
A vestibular or inner ear disorder is a condition that affects your balance and spatial orientation. It occurs when there is a malfunction or disruption in the inner ear's vestibular system, which sends signals about the body's position and movement to the brain. Vestibular or inner ear disorders can be debilitating and cause significant disruption to your daily life. Common symptoms include:
- Dizziness,
- Vertigo (a spinning sensation)
- Unsteadiness
- Difficulty maintaining balance
By working with one of our expertly trained vestibular physios, you can expect to regain significant confidence in your body, and in many cases, recover completely.
Respiratory and Breathing Physiotherapy
Your breathing patterns play a vital role in your overall health and recovery but sometimes can be disrupted due to injury or stress. By using the correct muscles, you can optimise your breathing to improve strength and stability while exercising or during recovery.
Respiratory physiotherapy can help in the recovery of breathing issues related to musculoskeletal injuries, concussion and stress, including:
- Feeling short of breath
- Unable to take a full breath
- Musculoskeletal chest pain
- Difficulty co-ordinating breathing during exercise
- Anxiety and foggy brain
Specialist Sports Physiotherapy
If you are struggling with the progress of your rehab, can’t get back on the field or have an event coming up, working with our Specialist Sports Physiotherapist can help. We aren’t here to replace your current physiotherapist, our expertise is in helping patients and their rehab team for short periods of time to make sure they’re getting the most effective treatment possible.
While many Physiotherapists have experience with sports injuries, a Sports Physiotherapy Specialist has dedicated a lot of time to understanding and working in this area of physiotherapy. Our aim is to work with you for a short period of time, providing additional advice and support.
