David graduated as Physiotherapist from Auckland University of Technology in 2020. He first worked out of a musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinic in Hamilton before returning to Auckland to join the Axis team late in 2022. David is currently the Rehab Physiotherapist for One NZ Warriors SG-Ball (Under-19) squad, and prior to that has helped provide physiotherapy services to Auckland United Football Club, North Shore United Football Club, and Ohaupo Rugby Club.

David is involved in ongoing academia out of AUT, specifically a study on neurodynamics that won him the Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy New Zealand Research Award in 2020. He has a keen interest in sports medicine, and is committed to combining this with his academic background to provide modern and effective rehabilitation programmes that allow you to get back doing what you love, and doing it well, as soon as possible.

David is a keen recreational sportsman, so when not in the clinic you will likely find him on the golf course, in the gym, or on the football pitch.
