
Jamie moved back to Axis after returning to his hometown of Wellington, where he worked with Capital Sports Medicine, the Hurricanes Poua, and Wellington Lions - following them to their second championship after his previous involvement in 2022.
He has covered a variety of sports including Rugby, Rugby League, Netball, Football, Cricket (ODI and Test), Hockey, Iron Man, Basketball, and has covered the Special Olympics. In 2022, Jamie travelled to Japan with New Zealand Universities Rugby.
Outside of work, he follows bodybuilding, hockey, rugby, endurance events such as marathon and Iron Man, and is an avid supporter of the Dallas Mavericks NBA team. Jamie loves to run, lift weights, has played and umpired hockey. He also enjoys all other varieties of recreational sport but was blessed more with enthusiasm than talent. Jamie is currently involved in research surrounding ACL injuries in football players as well as bioethical research.
