Janet has worked as a physiotherapist in a range of health settings, including hospitals, schools and private practice. Most recently she has worked at Middlemore Hospital and Breathing Works where she developed her interest in treating people with dizziness and vestibular disorders. She has attended a number of courses and specializes in treating vestibular/balance dysfunction, particularly as it relates to concussion.
Janet studied physiotherapy at AUT and returned there to complete a Masters of Health Science in 2005.
As a physiotherapist she is passionate about listening carefully to the client, and using her professional skills to develop a programme which is specific, realistic and effective for the person’s rehabilitation, helping them return to the life they want.
Outside of work she enjoys theatre, long walks and op shops.
