We're pleased to be able to let you know that Axis will still be operating throughout the Level 4 Lockdown. We will be conducting our consultations via Telehealth (telephone or video conference), so patients can stay at home, but continue to receive expert care from the Axis team.
What does this mean for you?
We will still be able to see them, so there's no need for them to cancel or postpone.
Patients will be able to attend their consultation right from their home without having to visit our clinic. The consultation will be conducted securely through our Telehealth platform.
Please note: If a patient cancels their consultation today they may not be able to be rebooked until October due to current clinician availability, so we encourage them to keep their appointment and start their treatment.
The best thing we can do right now is to continue to help and treat these patients.
You can continue to refer to us in the same way you always have by emailing us at referrals@axissportsmedicine.co.nz. Our support team is working as normal to help with these patients.
Please note: Due to current clinician availability we are currently booking some new patients into October so referring patients early on in their recovery will mean we can see them without too much delay and frustration, especially as we draw nearer to the Christmas holiday period.
We appreciate how hard it will be if you are unable to see your patients, but we can assist. Our doctors can see them now, give them some comfort that their problem is in good hands, diagnose their problem and then send them back to you for further treatment when you are able. If you are also running a telehealth service please let us know so we can liaise with you.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact our admin team on info@axissportsmedicine.co.nz.
